| Holy Smokes, was I happy when my sister bought our son your recycling truck for his 2nd birthday recently. I had just finished my daughter's birthday party and was ready to lose it after dealing with all the plastic, made-in-China-out-of-who-knows-what, completely overpackaged, sub-standard, poorly-designed 'toys' she got. Some of those packages took me more than half an hour to get unpackaged, through the layers of plastic, zap straps, twist ties, and garbage, and then trying to find any of it that could be recycled took me much longer (trying to separate the minimal amount of cardboard and paper was a daunting task). And then, something miraculous happened ... from beneath the pile of garbage and off-gassing crap, a light shone ... a recycling truck appeared. I opened the cardboard box, took out the truck, gave it to my son without worrying if it was going to harm him, and put the box in the recycling. How easy could it be?
Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you, thank-you. Please make more toys that make me and my kids feel good. (My son insisted on taking the truck everywhere for most of the week). |
